Description
Unbeatable location, barbecue with view over the waves
If you've ever been to Baleal, you've noticed this apartment already. It's built in the rocks right next to Prainha.
From the balcony, you can see the waves in Cantinho and Lagido, or you can even check the younger ones in the sheltered beach right underneath. When you finish cooking the barbecue, a small shout out will have everybody back in the house, even those that are surfing. That's how close it is.
It has 2 bedrooms, each with a double bed, and one of the bedrooms has a bunk bed for the younger ones.
In the balcony there's a big table, and sunbeds to enjoy the long lazy afternoons.

Fantastic position especially with kids. Few steps onto a protected section of beach. The apartment is older but has everything required for a relaxing holiday. The outside bbq is great. The only surprise for us was that toilet paper couldn't be flushed down the toilet.

We stayed first week of July at Rocha apartment. The location could not be any better if youre up for surf or other ocean related sports. House itself is simple and modest but has everything one need if youre not after luxury. Hosts are very kind and helpfull. We enjoyed our stay!!!

Fantastisk beliggenhet! En enkel leilighet, med fantastisk utsikt beliggende på en klippe over en langgrunn strand - perfekt for kombinasjonen strandliv og surfing. Vi reiste med to barn på 6 og 10 år. Fernando og Luciana var hyggelige og behjelpelige med alt fra restauranttips til å bestille taxi for oss ved avreise, og vi hadde god kommunikasjon hele veien. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

Best location for an appartment at Baleal.
It was our second time at the appartment and again Great. The appartment has all equipment needed and probably the best Location at the island Baleal. It has a Great bbq area and Infrastructure to keep surfing equipment.
After surfing, the house has a nice terasse to rest in the sun at the windless side.
It is easy and very comfortable to Communicate with the owners. We Are already looking forward to come back!

Luciana and Fernando are very nice, communicative and very helpful! They are perfect, easy-going. The house is really unique, with a rustic inside. The location is wonderful with a magical sea view (you can check the waves from 6am to 8pm). For surfers, this is the best spot in Baleal!

One of the best locations in Baleal if you are a surfer. House is located directly on Lagide spot and you can see part of Cantinho Da Baia as well. House itself is ok, standard for Baleal. The view is amazing!

Definitely the best spot for an Apartment in Baleal! Looking forward to come back soon. Rocha is fully equiped, beachview from one bedroom, no noisy partypeople, close to the lineout, all in all the best choice from my point of view. Free wifi available, self catering, sea view terrace...

Myself, my husband and our 3 boys have just returned home from a fabulous stay in this house in Baleal. The house is exactly as it is described on the website...it is cosy and has all amenities but is not very modern. However the location is excellent, the views are spectacular and Fernando & Luciana are great to deal with. I would definitely recommend this house for anyone visiting Baleal. We hope to return again.

Dealing with Fernando and his wife were a breeze. Prompt communication and incredibly accommodating of our late arrival Friday evening. We were greeted by Fernando's wife, who went to great lengths to help us settle in - even offering to race to the shops for us late that night so we had milk for the next morning! We even had a 5pm check-out on our day of departure,... no how cool is that!?! The accommodation was spot on for our needs (3 days surf trip with 2 other friends). The comfort level is between 2-3 stars (the mattresses we're that great, but they do the job), plenty for 3 thirty something surfers - that said, I'd be happy taking my wife to stay there. I've been to Portugal over a dozen times and this house has categorically THE best location of all the places I have stayed - you can check the surf at two breaks from your balcony! You can literally jump off your balcony on to the beach (though I wouldn't recommend trying!). Impressed? ABSOLUTELY. This is my new 'go-to' residence in Baleal/Peniche...

Location location location!!!! it could not be on a better spot. If you like beach life, surfing etc. this house is on a best spot.
The house itself is pretty small and old but it has everything we needed, shower (hot water) kitchen with all equipments. The Patio / balcony is amazing with the view straight to lagide surf spot and by turning your head you have view to cantinho da Baia spot.
I think the house is best for 4-5 people (we were group of 5 adults) since the extra bedroom has a bunk bed and its not really comfy for two adults, but not impossible either, maybe good for two kids. the beds are not the best inthe other rooms either. (we were group of 5 adults)
The lady who gave us the keys and showed us the house was really nice and she said anything we need we should just call her.
But anyway i would give the house itself 7/10 (the beds mostly took it down a little), but with the location and the balcony with barbecue it goes to up to 9/10.
We really enjoyed :) and will definitely come again!!!
